Join Indigenous Justice for the Is Siwa Youth Camp July

11-14th 2024 in Burney Falls, Shasta County!!

Youth will enjoy activities such as drums, language, games, cultural speakers, fire starting, bark house presentation, arrow heads, and skirt making. Youth will also participate in listening sessions, TEK walks and more!

Is’ Siwa means ‘All that is sacred from the beginning of time.’

Elevate Youth California supports this project through Proposition 64 funds. The California Department of Health Care Services contracts The Center at Sierra Health Foundation to support the implementation of this program. #ElevateYouthCA

MICROGRANT QUALIFICATIONS:

INDIGENOUS JUSTICE WILL PRIORITIZE PROGRAM PARTICIPANTS WHO MEET THE FOLLOWING ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA AT THE TIME OF RECRUITMENT:

1. WORKING, LIVING, OR RECEIVING SERVICES IN SAN FRANCISCO;

2. INDIVIDUALS WHO ARE JUSTICE-IMPACTED OR SURVIVORS OF VIOLENCE;

3. INDIVIDUALS WHO ARE VERY LOW-INCOME (0-30% OF AREA MEDIAN INCOME) AND, SHOULD FUNDING ALLOW, APPLICANTS DEEMED LOW-INCOME (30-50% OF AREA MEDIAN INCOME).
